Born in Rome, he began piano studies at an early age and then approached the study of composition and conducting. He discovered his predisposition for singing and began his studies with M° Romualdo Savastano, and in the course of his training he attended master classes with Giuseppe Sabbatini, Ernesto Palacio, Robert Kettelson and Raul Gimenez. He graduated from the National Academy of Dramatic Art Silvio D'Amico in Rome, starting working as an actor and collaborating with directors such as Luca Ronconi, Ugo Gregoretti, Mario Ferrero and Lorenzo Salveti. His career as an opera singer is centered on the Italian and French bel canto repertoire - with a particular focus on Rossini, Bellini and Donizetti - which made him known and appreciated by the audience. His career featured prestigious collaborations with conductors such as Myung-Whun Chung, D.Barenboim, B.Campanella, A.Zedda, M.Mariotti, R.Abbado, G.Gelmetti, D.Renzetti, D.Rustioni, Lu Ja; and with directors such as R.Carsen, G.Vick, G. Asagaroff, D.Michieletto, D.Tcherniakov, E.Sagi.
